Overview

The Website was created and is managed by Lisa Harrison Communications (“LHC”). The Site is powered by WordPress, a service product offered by Automattic Inc. for creating and managing blogs and websites. As such, your use of this Site is also subject to Automattic’s Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

LHC’s Privacy Policy was written in part using Automattic’s Privacy Policy as a template. This use is authorized in that policy, which Automattic has made available under a Creative Commons Sharealike licence.

Interpretation

The initial word(s) in boldface type in the Definitions section have the meanings defined in that section. These definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

3.0 Collection and Usage of Data by Lisa Harrison Communications (LHC)

3.1 Collection and Use of Your Personal Data

We provide a contact form on our Contact page for you to use if you’d like to connect with us. Contact forms are recommended as an extra level of privacy protection against the skimming (collection) of email addresses and phone numbers by scammers. Our contact form requires you to provide personal information including your name and email address so that we may respond appropriately and as helpfully as possible.

The Company may use this personal data for the following purposes:

  • To manage your requests for services,
  • To contact you electronically for communications related to contracted services when necessary or reasonable for their implementation,
  • To send you non-Company-related information we feel may be of value to you and to send seasonal greetings, and
  • To provide you with news and general information about services we offer that are similar to those that you have already contracted or inquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information.

4.1 Retention

The Company will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. This includes to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company may also retain and archive the de-identified data made available by Automattic Inc. for ongoing statistical analysis and Site improvement tracking.

4.3 Deletion
